      Practical training is an important part in the professional training of students of Taldykorgan higher medical college.

    Practical training is carried out on the basis of normative and instructional materials of the Ministry of health of Kazakhstan, State Standard of Education in the specialty, the Regulation "On professional practice of students". Practical training in College is divided into educational practice, training and production and undergraduate practice.  The schedule of practical classes is made for the half-year of the current year. For practical training sessions, the group is divided into subgroups, the occupancy of at least 12 people, the duration of practical training in clinical disciplines 4-6 hours.     Different types of practices correspond to the time laid down in the educational standards.

      Educational practice is carried out in preclinical offices and laboratories, the list of which is determined by the SES, the equipment of which as a whole is 89.5%.

      The purpose of the training practice is to obtain initial professional experience.  In the offices of preclinical practice focused all the methodological support of the studied disciplines: working programs of disciplines, educational and methodical complexes of topics and classes, didactic material, handouts for students.   Students work in offices at individual workplaces, each of which is equipped with manuals, manipulation algorithms, workbooks.        The team of teachers studied and implemented the most effective educational technologies that allow to simulate fragments of professional activity or as close as possible to them. Taking into account the peculiarities of teaching professional modules teachers of our College in the classroom used both gaming and non-gaming methods of active learning: simulation on the simulator, role-playing, business games, exercises - actions on the algorithm, solving situational problems, etc. Students, starting practical classes, are "Diary of practical classes". When filling out the diary, students learn to correctly formulate algorithms for action when performing practical tasks, use professional terminology, evaluate the volume and complex of work performed in the classroom. The training practice of clinical disciplines takes place in the simulation center, a virtual clinic, where all manipulations on phantoms, mannequins and models are worked out under the control of the teacher to automatism.

       Educational and industrial practice on the profile of the specialty is aimed at the formation of the student's General and professional competencies, the acquisition of practical experience. Depending on the specialty, students are trained in the MO on the basis of a social partnership agreement. For students allocated 8 classrooms in the station emergency and critical care, city hospital, city children's city policlinic, regional children's hospital, regional perinatal center, regional hospital, infectious diseases hospital, women's consultation, SCE "Regional dental clinic" dentistry LLP "Mamyr", LLP "Ural-2", pharmaceutical company "Darem", "Avicenna", "Kudermed". To practice on the profile of the specialty are allowed students who have completed training practice in this profile and have positive assessments. During the practice, students get acquainted with the work of departments, learn to carry out the nursing process, perform nursing manipulations, provide first aid, carry out drug therapy on doctor's prescription, provide infectious safety for the patient and staff, teach the patient and his family the skills of care and self-care, skills of preventing exacerbations of diseases, maintaining and strengthening health. Students of the specialty "Medical care" under the guidance of experienced doctors and paramedics go on calls as part of ambulance crews.

     From 2017-2018, the methodology of the training and production practice was amended in connection with the modernization of medical education. Innovative approach in medical education includes simulation technologies. At 4 courses, the training and production practice was conducted at clinical bases and in the simulation center "Virtual clinic". As a percentage, it was 50% of the time in the clinic and 50% in the simulation center. The simulation center practiced manipulations on simulators and communication skills in the team "expert - curator-patient". To improve the teaching practice in the clinic in this academic year on the subject "Fundamentals of nursing" in the specialty "Nursing affair" on 2 and 3 courses introduced mentoring. Mentors allotted - 2 course 3 semester 18 hours, 4 semester 30 hours, 3 course 5 semester 24 hours, 6 semester 24 hours.

       Mentor/mentor provides training and assistance in the implementation of practical skills and abilities of students on the basis of clinics.  In total, 13 mentors are involved. These are senior and chief nurses of a multi-profile city hospital, regional hospital and regional Oncology center.   After the clinical practice under the guidance of a mentor in order to analyze the effectiveness of a survey of students. The results of the questionnaire revealed that in the process of clinical practice mentors contributed to the support and adaptation of students at clinical sites, introduced them to the device and the specifics of the various units of the clinical base. Students had the opportunity to work freely in the workplace (reception, CSO, treatment room ).

     In recent years, the material and technical equipment of offices has increased significantly due to the acquisition of a large number of textbooks: tools, phantoms, modern subjects of patient care.     

     During practical training students keep a "Diary of practical training", which includes the data of the student, the place of practice, the data of practice managers, evaluation criteria of practical training, the content and volume of work performed, a table of digital report of skills and feedback from the student about the internship. In addition, each student supervises the patient during the practice and reflects the results of treatment and care in the educational records of the disease (birth). This stage of practical training in medical organizations is responsible, as it requires the formation of not only professional competencies, but also the development of personal qualities of the student, in particular communication skills, responsibility, discipline, the ability to cooperate, to show due attention and mercy to each patient. Practical training is completed by certification of students, on the basis of which the level of development of General and professional competencies is determined. Students provide the methodical head of practice with the documents testifying to implementation of the program of practice in full. Report on practical training, which includes a list of simple medical services performed with an indication of their number, as well as a text report containing an analysis of the conditions of practical training with conclusions and suggestions; The result of the practice is the certification, which includes direct supervisors of the practice, methodical supervisors and teachers of clinical disciplines. An assessment is made, which takes into account the performance of the individual task, compiled in accordance with the curriculum of practice, personal observations of the independent work of the Intern, as well as the characteristics compiled by the direct supervisors of the practice from the ,medical organization on the basis of interviews with students. Externship. The tasks of the pre-diploma practice are the generalization of knowledge and skills of students in the specialty, checking the possibilities of independent work of the future competent and competitive specialist in demand in the labor market. Pre-diploma practice is conducted on the bases of the city and districts. (CRH. regional perinatal center, FAP, Children's clinic, Emergency medical station).At the end of the internship, students pass to the head of practical training a voucher with an assessment, a characteristic, a report, an extract from the order of the medical organization and a completed diary. The result of the qualifying practice is set-off. This is the result of high-quality training and increased requirements of teachers to obtain knowledge and skills of specialists. In connection with the modern requirements of practical health pre-diploma practice is constantly being improved and built so that each discipline, each lesson was significant for the student, rich in new practice-oriented information that allows you to effectively master a certain level of professional knowledge. The quality of training is subject to constant monitoring of the administration and teachers of the College. During the year, the College monitors the implementation of practical skills in all specialties. The purpose of monitoring is an objective assessment of the level of preparedness of students for future professional activity, analysis of learning outcomes, identification of shortcomings in the training of students during the educational process and its corresponding adjustment. In the course of monitoring the quality of practical manipulations is carried out continuously, systematic monitoring of the state of professional development of the future specialist and forecasting its development. Systematically carefully thought-out control allows time to detect and consolidate the successes achieved by teachers. Monitoring should be an incentive to improve the quality and efficiency of work.
